ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department of Mizo was one of the departments to have been functioning in the College since its inception. The Department was manned by 6  faculty members.  It is the sole department dealing with the study of Mizo literature, culture,language and  traditions.

Till now, one professor, two associate professors, three assistant professors  were assigned to the Department.

General Activities of the Department:

Conduct of  regular classes through online and offline  mode

Organise seminars, consultations and symposiums

Publish and release books by the faculty and students

Conduct study tour for the final year students

Participation in literary programmes

Organizing programmes  for the promotion of Mizo language and literature
