All waste is disposed off by hiring a garbage truck

Voluntary Blood Donation by NSS, NCC, Red Ribbon where a total of 95 units(79 male, 16 female) were obtained

Congratulations Isak Lalremruata, V Semester (English) and Alex Malsawmhlua I Sem (Eng) for securing Second and Third Position respectively in the “LitFest: On the Spot Intercollege Poetry Writing Competition” organized by Mizoram English Literary Society (MIELS) on 4th September, 2024 at Govt. Hrangbana College, Aizawl, Mizoram. The awards include cash incentives, certificates and memento. Five students of the college participated in two events namely, ‘On the Spot Intercollege Poetry Writing Competition’ and ‘On the Spot Intercollege Short Story Writing Competition’ for which participation certificates were given to the remaining three participants. Faculty-in-charge: Dr. V. L. Rinawmi, Assistant Professor, Department of English of the college.

Observance of Green Mizoram Day by NSS Unit, Govt Johnson College at Maubuang Plantation site on 11.06.2024 where saplings were planted and plastic waste was cleared

observance of World Environment Day at Aizawl Zoological Park by NSS, Govt Johnson College in collaboration with Eco-club, Youth Adventure Club and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, GOM A total of 12 volunteers ( 9 male , 3 female) conducted a cleanliness drive at the Zoological Park where an awareness talk on the theme Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience was organized. The volunteers were also given first hand experience on the theme through various activities
